Juventus fails to debut a young player from the youth academy after 12 years, closing the 2025-2026 season without any of the youth team's talents making their debut. The risk is losing the benefits of the second team, which however has been rich in quality this season. The Next Gen finished fifth in Group B of Serie C, beat Vis Pesaro in the first round of the playoffs and stopped at the second against Pianese of Alessandro Birindelli. The most promising talent is left-back David Puczka – 10 goals and five assists in the season –, who is talked about so well that he could have probably tried to jump to Serie A, but it did not happen. And then there are Giacomo Faticanti, Augusto Owusu, the talent of Adin Licina, the central Javier Gil. There would be material to draw from the second team, but it did not happen with Tudor or Spalletti. And the virtuous circle has been interrupted, without any convenience for Juventus itself. Obviously, in this specific case, it is understandable that the coaches have focused on the few certainties in the team in the pursuit of the fourth place – which was not achieved –, but at the same time the club has an interest in the young players emerging or at least getting to Serie A. This year, after 12 consecutive years, it did not happen.
