Juventus is getting closer to sealing the deal with Sorloth. The negotiations were opened by Atletico Madrid, which has opened the possibility of an adventure in Italy. The Bianconeri have taken advantage of the opportunity and deepened the dialogue with Alexander's entourage, arriving at a shared view on the duration of the relationship and the contract. Juventus and Sorloth have found a four-year deal - which could also have a formula of three years plus an option for the fourth - with a net salary of 4 million euros per season. An increase significant compared to the 3 million that the player currently earns from Colchoneros, but still within the parameters of Continassa. The sirens of the Premier have grown in intensity in recent hours: putting this stone is therefore important. It's not yet done because the next chapter of the story concerns the search for an agreement with Atletico Madrid. The confrontation has already started last week and has been favored by the opening of the Spaniards to negotiate, as well as the other deal that the two clubs are trying to tie up, namely the permanence in Spain of Nico Gonzalez. The issues are traveling on parallel tracks, it will not be an exchange of players. For Sorloth, the Colchoneros are asking for 30 million, an investment that fits within the Bianconeri's standards; different is the case for Nico, who was not bought back (voluntarily) by Atletico at the 32 million agreed last summer with Juventus, to seek a discount. The Argentine, however, intends to remain under Simeone's control and therefore the two clubs are working to meet this will. The Colchoneros do not want to go beyond an investment of 22-23 million plus bonuses, a figure distant from the 30 million that is the target of Juventus' income. The distance does not appear insurmountable because a possible meeting point could be found at 25 million plus bonuses, thus reaching a quota of 27-28. Juventus would gain much with Sorloth. First of all, closing the deal quickly would respond with speed to a need that has become more acute with Vlahovic's departure, an event that adds to the multiple failures of the summer transfers, David, Openda and Zhegrova: so the void in the Bianconeri's attack has widened. With the Norwegian giant, 1.96 meters tall, Spalletti would find the characteristics that have been missing throughout the season and that he had asked for repeatedly in the January market, during Vlahovic's long absence, but remained unheard. Sorloth would bring physicality, ability to make a solo run and accompany the movement, presence in the penalty area, fundamental to concretize the amount of play that Juventus habitually produces.
